Dr. Santiago Uribe, DDS
Santiago’s enthusiasm for dentistry began when he was a young boy undergoing orthodontic treatment. Fascinated by this procedure, he asked his orthodontist numerous questions and even went as far as performing oral photography and wire bending on his own braces. It wasn’t long before Santiago decided to pursue a career path in dentistry, ultimately graduating from CES University in 1997.
After finishing his five-year dental program, Santiago worked as a general dentist in a hospital treating dento-alveolar trauma and oro-facial infections, seeing to other dental emergencies, and providing various other dental services. Upon relocating to a larger city, Santiago began working in a private practice, and then, over a six-year period, he trained his focus on periodontics, again, mostly in the private dental field. During this time, Santiago made it his mission to help low-income families and others in need by joining the Florida rural health network.
In 2009, Santiago moved to California to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of California San Francisco. As a UCSF graduate, he places a strong emphasis on preventative dental care for children, teens, and adults. He also works to support under served communities at “La Clinica de la Raza” located in the East Bay.
