Dr. Jyoti Farwaha, DMD
Jyoti Farwaha obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey earning Dean’s list recognition, and was selected to be a member of Gamma Pi Delta, a Prosthodontic Honor Society. Dr. Farwaha completed her general practice residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Pennsylvania, gaining valuable experiences while treating the underprivileged patient community in a clinical setting.
Dr. Farwaha recently moved to the West Coast from New Jersey to continue her career, where her husband is originally from and where he is currently completing his Residency at UCSF for Otolaryngology. They look forward to planting their roots in the Bay area as they presently reside in San Francisco. When not treating patients, Dr. Farwaha enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, exploring the many great restaurants in the Bay Area and spending time with family.
She works closely with her patients as she believes that communication and clear understanding are the most important keys in achieving the best outcomes. She strongly believes in education to prevent oral health problems, and makes sure to keep patients fully informed about their dental health. Treatment options, advantages and disadvantages are always presented and discussed with patients. Thus, you can expect an individualized treatment with the utmost care and respect.
Continuing education and organized dentistry are very important to her as she regularly attends courses surpassing the required amount of education and training. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association and San Francisco Dental Society.
