The exam will also include a check for cavities, plaque, tartar, and any other problem causing harm to teeth, gums, mouth or jaws. Dental x-rays may also be required. These are images of the teeth that can help the dentist identify problems like cavities, tooth decay, and impacted teeth. We recommend a 6-monthly check up to prevent dental problems and keep your smile intact.
